Gaga:The new face of feminism

In response to the post regarding Lady Gaga's perfume launch, which appeared in the usual style of Gaga where mysongyny is celebrated and embraced by women. The rationale behind Gaga and her antics (apart from courting controversy) is that if we own and particiapte in our own degradation women are somehow more sexually liberated and powerful!!!  The inevitable off-shoot of the acceptance of female objectification by women, is the troubling phenomenon of self sexual objectification, or self sexploitation. It may interset fellow members to know that Lady Gaga is now touted, even in some academic circles, as the new face of feminism!
