I spoke with a Journalist about this product. She contacted the distributor that Collective Shout mentioned. Apparently, the product is only available in about 14 shops at this stage but the plan is to roll it out to over 3,000 shops within Queensland. This includes local shops and corner stores! Apparently the distributor's difference is ten years ago people through Virgin was an offensive term! There may be an article about this in the weekend's Courier Mail.

Hi, I went back to the shop and complained. I advised that given the type of shop it was, one frequented by children and teenagers, that I found the name of the product demeaning, offensive and against the standards our society would regard as acceptable. At my local fish and chip shop a natural energy drink is for sale called, "Pussy" the bi line is, "we're pure it's your mind that's the problem." This is not an adult shop but one frequented by children and teenagers. I believe the name of this product is against our moral standards, deeming and exploitative. The company should be forced to change its name or be banned.
